The Village at Shirlington, Arlington, Virginia 1987

At the forefront of the effort to create more “walkable cities” The Oliver Carr Company designed and developed The Village at Shirlington in Arlington, VA between 1985 and 1987. The site is 25 acres of mixed use land development including 80,000 square feet of office space, 428,000 square feet of retail, 490 residential units, and move complex, all accessible via a pedestrian arcade.
