Austin Flajser is President & CEO of The Carr Companies, with day-to-day oversight of over 40 coworking, hotel, commercial and retail assets under management in 9 markets across the country. Current assets account for over $1B in gross asset value, with an active development and acquisition pipeline that contributes 20-30% in new projects annually. In 2012, Austin took over as President of the hotel and development divisions at Carr before assuming oversight of all business units with the inclusion of the coworking operations in 2016 under the newly consolidated Carr Companies. A regular participating member on committees in both the City of Alexandria and Washington, DC, Austin formerly served on the board of the Global Workspace Association, is currently active on the boards of the Southwest DC BID and Old Town North Alliance, and is a member of both Federal City Council and the Youth in Real Estate Committee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.
